About Us

Aerospace

Aerospace components are safety critical and highly inspected. Inspection programs are part of the manufacturer’s quality procedures and, in many cases, required by FAA regulations.
MI has multi-disciplined personnel with aerospace industry experience that work in a laboratory environment. They utilize traditional and advanced NDT methods to identify defects in critical structural, airframe, engine and accessory components. Many of these defects would otherwise be undetectable using only visual or conventional inspection methods. Our service procedures meet aerospace industry standards, and plan the work to minimize turnaround time.

Automative

Auto manufacturers and their suppliers are under on-going pressure to improve the way their safety critical components are inspected, to reduce the length of inspection turnaround times, and to improve the overall quality of inspection.
MI provides NDT, metrology, and materials engineering services for safety critical parts. NDT test methods include computed radiography (CR), digital radiography (DR), real time radiography (RTR), high volume liquid Penetrant (PT), ultrasonic (UT) for spot weld examination, eddy current (ET), visual inspection (VT) along with hardness and velocity testing.

Fossil Power

Fossil power plants use coal, natural gas or petroleum to create steam to drive turbines that power electrical generators. Key plant components are the boiler, turbine, heat exchanger and high energy piping. Alternative power makes use of wind or water energy to drive generators.
MI inspects key components in both fossil and alternative power producers pursuant to mechanical reliability programs that seek to ensure the integrity of plant assets. MI uses both conventional and advanced techniques for the examination of boiler tubes, turbines, exchangers and other critical equipment.

Nuclear

Nuclear power plants use nuclear fission to create steam that drives turbines and generators to produce electricity. Nuclear power plants are subject to rigorous examination of the systems, structures and components to determine whether they are fit for continued safe operation. In-service inspection (ISI) programs prescribe the system of inspection to accomplish this objective.
MI's to the nuclear power industry focus on staffing both in-service inspection and maintenance outages with qualified technicians. Technicians use NDT methods and technology to assess the structural integrity of plant components. This information is used to evaluate the remaining life of turbines, steam generators, condensers, and other critical systems. We follow MI and our client’s safety practices, and comply with all industry codes and standards.

Pipe Line

Inspection of pipelines occurs both at time of their construction and while in service.
The ONGC,RIL, IOCL, BPCL,HPCL for testing of welds associated with the construction of new pipelines. Pipelines are inspected using radiography or ultrasonic methods.
In-service inspection associated with pipeline integrity programs includes both in-line inspection and direct assessment. Direct assessment involves analysis of data from in-line inspections and other information, above ground inspection, selecting digs for visual and non-destructive inspections, and post assessments.

Petrochemical

Refineries process crude oil using a variety of complex industrial processes and associated infrastructure. Operating safely, avoiding unplanned outages, and properly maintaining refinery equipment are key objectives of the refinery plant manager.
MI works to assist our refinery clients plan and execute inspection work while minimizing facility downtime. Services include mechanical integrity (compliance to PSM), Risk Based Inspection (RBI), NDT Level III (i.e., provide sign off of NDT per client request and requirements), support of owner-user integrity management system, project and turn around NDT supervision (i.e., administration, safety/quality, planning/scheduling), and audit services. Our advanced services group examines piping systems and other critical components.

Manufacturing Unite

From construction sites, pipelines and refineries to shipyards and nuclear power plants, you need to monitor and improve the reliability of your processes and equipment. Our non-destructive testing (NDT) services offer you complete or sample examination of your assets, using well-designed procedures and highly trained and certified NDT inspectors. As a result, we can provide you with complete and valuable data, enabling you to make informed asset management decisions.

Marine

We supports the Nondestructive Inspection ship building industry and is Longshore insured. Our technicians are NAVSEA, NAS-410, SNT-TC-1A, ASNT, ACCP and CP-189 Qualified & Certified Nondestructive to Level II or Level III in Ultrasound, Radiography, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Radiography, Phased Array or Time of Flight Diffraction,Eddy Current Tubing analysis per NAVSEA T9074-AS-GIB-010/271, NAVSEA T9074-AT-GIB-010/2032, and Aqualified 04.05.
Using traditional and advanced NDT techniques that have been qualified to exacting international standards such as the American Bureau of Ships (ABS), we have the experience to provide the proper solution for your marine inspection needs.

Pharmaceutical

X-ray inspection is an important tool widely used in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries to investigate internal or concealed structures and features to identify problems and confirm integrity of the product before it leaves your plant.
MI provide NDT work closely with customers to understand their particular requirements and propose appropriate and cost effective solutions from component level to complete integrated turnkey systems.
